-May we visit the farm where the produce is growing,
Yes, when you pick up your share, you will be able to see where many of the fresh fruits and vegetables you are taking are grown. A member farm tour will be given in August (date to be still to be determined) during share pickup hours. (Weather permitting)
-How long has A&L been doing the CSA Program?
2013 will be our third year, but we have been growing fruits and vegetables in the community for over 30 years.
-What if we are out of town?
Please let us know who will be picking up your share. If no one is available to pick up your share, your share or produce of equal value will be donated to a local non-profit organization.
-Will the share be ready for pick up or do we get to choose our produce?
Your share will be ready with assorted produce for you to pick up and enjoy.
-Are we required to do work on the farm?
No, all of the work will be done for you. All you have to do is pick up your share and enjoy your locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables.
-Are half shares available?
Yes, half shares are available, Half share will be for approximately 2-3 people and full shares for 4-5 people.
-Are we required to bring our own box to pick up our share?
No, A&L will provide a reusable box for you to exchange each week.
